Course Overview
This course will teach two ways of joining pieces of leather, a material often used in conjunction with wood. TheLeather Stitching and Lacing course will concentrate on the ‘double needlesaddle stitching’ technique. Participants will also be shown how to make small leather projects joined using edge lacing. These craft skills are often used to compliment woodworking projects.
Materials Provided
Participants will be supplied with a small kit and will leave the course with materials for further projects.
What To Bring
An apron to cover clothing, lunch.
Safety
Please wear sturdy footwear, shoes with leather uppers preferred.
