MICHAEL McGRATH
Subtle curves tease the eye, tempting visitors to touch and caress.
Every piece of Michael McGrath's woodwork is unique; designed around a particular piece of interesting wood or grain. The contrast between light and dark timbers, such as Silky Oak and NSW Rosewood or Red Gum is a feature of Michael's style.
These pieces are crafted to last a lifetime and to fit in with life's changing moods and styles. Neither antique nor modern they have a place in any home, neither shouting for attention, nor shunning it.
Michael creates individual pieces that challenge and inspire him from recycled, salvaged or, in a pinch, plantation solid timbers. Searching through demolition yards and tree salvage operations for that little gem is a pleasure that stimulates Michael's creative juices.
